LIBURD TO SPEAK AT LWV LUNCHEON

Senate President Almando "Rocky" Liburd has been asked by the League of Women Voters of the Virgin Islands to present the majority agenda for the 24th Legislature at the league's biennial luncheon meeting.
Along with the Legislature's agenda the league has also asked Liburd to respond to the league's statement of expectations of the 24th Legislature.
Along with Liburd, all the other senators of the 24th Legislature have been invited to attend the event, which is slated for 12 noon, Monday Jan. 29 at Chickie's Place in Frenchtown.
Each senator has been invited to offer brief remarks.
League President Erva Denham said Liburd has agreed to be there.
There will be a period for questions and answers if time permits, according to a release from Denham.
For further information and reservations, call Eleanor Cerge at 776-9357.
