Delegate to Congress Donna Christian Christensen attended the Caribbean Business Conference in Jamaica over the weekend where she received the Bridge Builder's award from the Carib News Business Conference. The annual meeting of business, government and community leaders from across the US and the Caribbean was held on St. Croix last year.
Other leaders recognized for their achievements included Congressman Charles Rangel, Jamaica Prime Minister Percival James Patterson, former United Nations Ambassador Andrew Young and Texaco Caribbean Chief Rendell Brewster.
Following the conference, Christensen returned to Washington, D.C. before the start of the 106th Congress.
