COMPUTER MAPPING DEMO AT UVI

The Conservation Data Center at UVI will have a display and demonstration of Geographic Information Systems for GIS Day 2000, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday on the cafeteria patio of the St. Thomas campus.
GIS Day is a global event for thousands of users of GIS technology to educate the public and demonstrate GIS technology at schools and organizations around the world. The goal is to help educate children as well as adults on the applications of geography and computer-aided mapping.
