THE BLUES AT TILLET

Elite blues/rock guitarist Jimmy Thackery is known for his six string brilliance and he's used it, playing alongside blues legends like Muddy Waters, James Cotton, and Luther "Guitar Junior" Johnson.
Formerly a popular guitarist with the Nighthawks, a great blues band of the 70's and 80's, Thackery put together his current band ten years ago in response to fans' continued demands for more of his raw, powerful guitar playing.
Listen to blues/rock from the best, 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9 at Tillett Gardens. According to a release from Arts Alive this concert is part of the Concerts in the Garden series.
For ticket information call 775-1929, or tickets can be purchased at the Tillett Gardens Art Gallery. Tickets are available for concert seating in the garden, or limited reservations are available for a pre-concert dinner and concert package.
