ROBINSON'S 'STORE TO SHORE' JUST RELEASED

Capt. Jan Robinson has released her eighth book in the popular "Ship to Shore" cookbook series.
"Store to Shore" contains 48 full day menus, recipes and detailed shopping lists, together with helpful hints and tips on planning and provisioning. Robinson has also included a "where to shop suggestions" guide to some exotic ports of the world, especially in the Caribbean where thousands of yachts cruise each year.
"Store to Shore" will appeal not only to charter yacht chefs but also to those who entertain at home and want to keep pace with cooking trends from breakfast and lunch, to hors d'oeuvres, dinner, accompaniments and dessert. Designed for easy storage ashore and afloat, the 384-page cookbook features a four-color laminated cover, compact six-by-nine-inch dimensions, with a binder that allows the volume to lie flat when in use.
Robinson became a cookbook author when charter guests, amazed that she could turn out gourmet meals from a galley the size of most people's closets, began asking for her recipes. She found that chefs on other yachts were also being asked for galley secrets as well and Robinson decided to collect recipes, hints, and tips, and publish them in a cookbook, "Ship to Shore," now in its 12th printing.
Robinson is an accredited member of the American Institute of Wine and Food and holds certificates from the Cordon Bleu Cooking School, the Ritz Cooking School and the Culinary Institute of America.
"Store to Shore" is $19.95 and is available at Dockside Bookshop and Sunny Caribbee in Havensight, Marina Market, Island Marine, Budget Marine, Pussers, the Fruit Bowl, Pampered Pirate and other stores on St. John and St. Croix. At the charter yacht boat show the book will be available at the Marine Store.
The "Ship to Shore" cookbook series can be ordered online, via e-mail (CapJan@aol.com) or the Ship to Shore Web site (www.shiptoshoreinc.com), via toll-free phone (1-800-338-6072), or by writing to Ship to Shore, Inc., 10500 Mt. Holly Road, Charlotte, NC 28214-9219.
