THE CHURCH AND THE INTERFAITH MOVEMENT

The Lutheran Center for Theological Formation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Lutheran Churches in the Virgin Islands invite religious and spiritual leaders, lay leaders, members of the Interfaith Coalition and other interested persons in the community to attend a lecture by guest speaker, the Rev. William Lesher from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23 at Kingshill Lutheran Church.
His topic will be, " A World of Many Faiths: The Role of the Church in The Emerging Interfaith Movement."
According to a press release from Frederick Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lesher, is a delegate to the United Nation's World Peace Summit of Religious and Spiritual Leaders. He will speak in St.Thomas on Sunday.
