WOMEN'S SOCCER SPRING LEAGUE CONTINUES PLAY

Two soccer teams will be meeting for the first time this season at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 6 in the St. Thomas Women's Soccer Association spring league.
Meeting at the University of the Virgin Islands field, the Ivanna Eudora Kean High School Rays will make their first bid against the Lightening Strikers, the female division of the Antillean Striker's Football Club.
The Queen Upsetters will be playing the Lightening Strikers at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 8 when they will try to even the score from their last match, which the Strikers won.
At 4 p.m. Sunday the Queens play the IEKHS Rays again. Both games are at the UVI field.
The league is considered developmental because there are so many new players, according to public relations officer Tanya Ward Benjamin.
