I just read an article, in another paper, about senators who don't show up for committee meetings.
It didn't surprise me that Sen. Alicia "Chucky" Hansen only showed up for "26.3 percent." Many senators claim they are working for the people of the Virgin Islands. However, they are not preforming their duties as elected officials. In a regular job, you don't show up for work–you get FIRED!
I hope people take note come election time of who worked and who didn't.
I would like to see all the senators list his or her achievements in the senate, and how did they impacted the common Virgin Islander's life.
I don't think one of them has done anything in a long time to impact me (as a person), which should be their main goal.
Hoping they are not re-elected,
