2 MINORS CHARGED WITH LINDQVIST RAPE

Two minors reportedly have been arrested on rape charges in connection with the sexual assault of a woman who was sunbathing nude on Lindqvist beach.
WVWI Radio One quoted unnamed sources in the law enforcement community as saying the two minors were arrested late Wednesday afternoon in connection with the sexual assault.
The minors, who will be transferred to the Youth Rehabilitation Center in St. Croix, reportedly have been released to their parents' custody.
The assault occurred last week when the two are alleged to have used a dinghy to gain access to the isolated beach on St. Thomas' East End.
The woman was attacked and raped on the beach before the two suspects fled the area.
