St. Croix To Host Annual International Triathlon in May
Professional triathletes from all over the world will converge on St. Croix on May 7 for the annual St. Croix International Triathlon. This year's competition is sure to uphold its reputation for challenging professional athletes with one of the most scenic and rigorous courses in the world.
The race course features a 1.2-mile (two kilometer) swim; a 35-mile (55 kilometer) bicycle leg (including the infamous hill known as "The Beast"); and a 7.4-mile (12 kilometer) run.

St. John Resort Offers Special Honeymoon Package
Gallows Point Suite Resort on St. John has a special honeymoon package for couples celebrating their new life together. It includes ocean-view accommodations, an on-or off-property dining voucher for two, a selection of activities, a one-day jeep rental, transportation to the resort from the Cruz Bay ferry dock and back, and a bottle of chilled champagne upon arrival.
This all-suite condominium resort offers a superb view of the Caribbean and numerous upscale amenities. Rates through April 19 range from $1,445 per couple for a four-day/three-night stay to $2,915 per couple for an eight-day/seven-night stay.

Bolongo Bay Launches "Kids Stay Free" Program
Bolongo Bay Beach Club and Villas has launched its "Kids Stay Free" program. For the entire year 2000, accommodations for children 12 years of age and under are free when they share a room with adult guests registered in any of the resort's three programs – the European Plan, Continental Plan or all-inclusive program.
Families with children 12 and under staying at Bolongo during the summer season can also take advantage of the resort's "Kids Eat Free" program. Valid on bookings for travel June 1 through Sept. 30, the program offers free dining for youngsters ordering from the children's menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. One adult dining a la carte must accompany each child.
