Jerain Fleming, former media specialist with the Legislature, has been appointed to the Public Information Office of the Lieutenant Governor.
Fleming, who holds a degree in journalism, was with the Legislature for eight years.
She replaces Michael Burton who resigned his post in October.
Fleming will be responsible for interacting with the media on matters relating to the Lt. Governor's Office.
