VIPA TO CLOSE PORTS

The Virgin Islands Port Authority will close all ports to incoming vessels weighing more than 200 gross tons as of 12 noon Tuesday.
All vessels, 2000 gross tons and over, currently in Virgin Islands ports must depart by 8 p.m. Tuesday, according to a release from VIPA.
The ports will remain closed until poor weather conditions, expected to result from Hurricane Lenny, improve, the release said.
