SAILOR MISSING FROM USS EISENHOWER

A sailor is reportedly missing from the aircraft carrier USS Eisenhower that was in port from last Friday until Tuesday afternoon.
The sailor, Daniel Reid Weaber, was possibly on his way to St. John when last seen, according to a release from Police Chief Jose Garcia.
The V.I. Police received a report about the missing sailor from Special Agent David Chitwod of Naval Intelligence at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Garcia has issued an all-point-bulletin to police officers to be on the lookout for Weaber.
The sailor is described as a 25-year-old Caucasian with blonde hair, blue eyes and a scar on his lower face.
Anyone having information on the missing man is asked to call 774-4050 or 911.
