The annual Father's Day Fishing Tournament gets under way at 5:30 a.m. June 13 when the anglers set out to sea. For the rest of us it's 12 noon weigh-in time at the Gustave Quetel Fishing Center in Frenchtown.
The Committee for the Betterment of Carenage event sponsored by Coors Light, Offshore Marine and Hawaiian Tropic, will feature music, food and drinks throughout the afternoon, with a $2,000 cash prize for the top angler.
An anglers' meeting and pre-registration for the annual Fathers' Day Fishing Tournament will be held at 7 p.m. June 10 at the Frenchtown Community Center. Registration will also be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 12 at the Joseph Aubain ballpark in Frenchtown.
