CALYPSO KING WHADABLEE REIGNS!

It's Calypso King Whadablee after Thursday night's Calypso competition at Lionel Robert's Stadium. St.Clair "Whadablee" DeSilva won for Best Political Commentary, too.
Coming in second was 1998 Calypso King Reginald "Ras Regg" Martin, who said he was the first person to put a mike into Whadablee's hand.
In third was 17-year-old Claudia "Princess Rosalyn" Sorhaindo, who told Radio One she was inspired by her mother, Calypsonian "Lady Ann." She is a Central High School student who says she wants to be either a nurse or gynecologist.
Over 2,000 people showed up to cheer on their favorite calypso performers, according to the Daily News.
