LTG Rey, who has achieved 17 promotions and worn 18 ranks, is the most promoted soldier in the U.S. Army since World War IIโa feat that reflects his extraordinary dedication, leadership, and service. Previously serving as the Director of the Network Cross-Functional Team at the Army Futures Command, LTG Rey will now assume a critical role as the principal military advisor to the Army’s Chief of Staff and Chief Information Officer, where he will oversee global command, control, communications, cyber operations, and networks.

Patrick Farrell, Director of the Virgin Islands Office of Veterans Affairs, also shared his thoughts on this momentous occasion:
โIn concert with Governor Albert Bryan Jr., I too extend my heartfelt congratulationsย to Lieutenant General Jeth Rey on his promotion and assumption of responsibility as Deputy Chief of Staff / G-6 within the United States Army,โ said Farrell.
โThis milestone stands as a testament to his unwavering dedication, leadership, and service to our nation. As a Virgin Islander and Army retiree, it was a pleasure to witness the United States Armyโs Chief of Staff General Randy George, administer LTG General Reyโs oath of office, which was immediately followed by the pinning of his new rank by his wife Carla, and son Jeth Jr. The support from Virgin Islanders was also evident by the in-person representation at the ceremony.
โLTG Rey, your journey exemplifies the highest ideals of military excellence and perseverance, inspiring all who have the privilege of witnessing and benefiting from your legacy. I wish you continued success as you take on this critical role and shape the future of our Armyโs communications and technology capabilities. Congratulationsย again, and thank you for your remarkable service.โ
From his roots in the Virgin Islands to one of the highest ranks in the United States Army, LTG Reyโs journey is a testament to what can be achieved with determination and vision. His story inspires Virgin Islanders everywhere to pursue their dreams and aim for the highest levels of success.
