Ulrick Vanito Rhymer, also known as “Cookie,” died on June 26.
The first viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m., Monday, July 8, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. The second viewing will be held from 8:30-9:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 9, at the Lutheran Church of the Reformation with services to follow right after 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Coki Point Cemetery.
He is preceded in death by his son, Alex Rhymer; wife, Audrey Berry; granddaughter, Michelle Rivera; and brothers: Reuben and Cito.
He is survived by his children: Alvie Rhymer, Arlene Rhymer-Palmer, Alvis Rhymer, Cathlene Simmon and Adalene Harbert; sons-in-law: Patrick Harbert and Willie David Palmer III; daughters-in-law: Maine Rhymer, Jennifer Rhymer, Yvette Johnson and Octavia Ludvig.
“Cookie” leaves behind a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and sisters and brothers.
He also leaves behind his very dear friends: Matilda Lawrence and James.
