John Ivin Christian, of Pleasant Valley, passed away on June 16. He was 79 years old.

ย He is survived by daughter, Mela Christian; sons, Jerome Christian, Craig Daly; sisters, Beverly Plaskett, Marie Christian, Marcia Christian, Katherine Christian, Veronica Christian; brothers, Juma Christian, Joshua Christian; niece, Dr. Karla Easton; nephews, Ralph James, Hugh James, Shawn Robles, Aaron Plaskett; great nieces, Merlina Robles, Aria Easton, Zara Easton; great nephews, Jordan James, Austin James, Christopher James, Justin James, Samuel Robles; godparent, Mr. and Mrs. Cyril King; special friends, Dean and Rhea Hodge, Carmen Mills, Unita Georges, Class of 1966, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schuster, Dr. Glenwood and Marsha Charles, Raymond George, WAPA Family, Reuben Roebuck; cousin and other relatives, Joyce Bunner Family, McAlphin Family, The Rissing Family, The Everett Oliver Family, Moorehead Family, Teresa Walton, Juanita Christian, Lydia Cabet, Rita Lawson, Carol William, Joyce Canes, Selma Angela Christian, Kathy Joy Christian, Iris Christian, Dr. Michael Christian, Gerard Christian Jr., John Christian, Augustin Christian, Bernard Christian Jr and precious friends and other relatives too numerous to mention.

Funeral service will be held on July 29, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Viewing begins at 9 am, with service at 10 am. Interment will be held at Kingshill Cemetery.
