November 2023: Widespread destruction in Gaza City
Photographer’s note: “I took this photo a couple of days following heavy bombardment targeting one of the most vibrant neighbourhoods in Southern Rimal, middle of Gaza City. I was shocked by the level of destruction. I barely knew the buildings I used to know very well. All gone, becoming a wasteland. I have been working as a photographer for 23 years across the Gaza Strip. I have never witnessed such pain.”
