The U.S. Virgin Islands Soccer Federation is proud to announce that Robert Ferrell II has been appointed by Concacaf to participate in the 2026 Concacaf Referee & Instructor Academy Consolidation, to be held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, from July 29 to Aug. 7 in conjunction with the Central American and Caribbean Games.
Ferrell has been selected to represent the U.S. Virgin Islands in the Instructor Academy, joining a distinguished group of referee instructors from across the Concacaf region. The Academy brings together top referee educators and match officials for advanced technical instruction, fitness evaluations, educational sessions, and performance assessments throughout the tournament.
This appointment is an important milestone for the U.S. Virgin Islands Soccer Federation and reflects the continued progress of refereeing development within the Federation. It also marks one of the most significant international referee appointments received by the USVISF in recent years. The USVISF congratulates Robert on this outstanding achievement and wishes him every success as he represents both the Federation and the U.S. Virgin Islands on the regional stage.
