New Waste Collection Day for Estate Blessing

The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority would like to inform residents of Estate Blessing of an update to their house-to-house waste collection schedule. Effective tomorrow, Tuesday, June 23, household waste will be collected every Tuesday.

This adjustment is part of VIWMA’s ongoing efforts to improve service reliability, strengthen operational efficiency, and ensure consistent waste collection for neighborhoods across the Territory.

Residents are reminded to dispose of their household waste in approved, standardized trash carts that comply with VIWMA’s safety guidelines. All waste should be bagged before placing it in the carts. Please position the carts at the designated collection point and ensure they are securely closed. This practice helps prevent litter, protects public health, and supports the Authority’s mission to maintain clean and safe communities.

VIWMA appreciates the cooperation of the Estate Blessing community as we continue working to enhance waste management services for all residents.

Keeping our community informed is our top priority.
