Elections System Hosts Nomination Petition and Papers Training

Supervisor of Elections Caroline F. Fawkes is pleased to announce the Elections System of the Virgin Islands will be conducting training on completing the nomination petitions and papers.

Training locations and time are as follows:

St. Croix Elections Office-Sunny Isles Shopping Center, Unit 26 1st Floor
Tuesday, March 17 at 5:30 p.m.
St. Thomas Elections Office- Lockhart Gardens (Upstairs Banco Popular)
Thursday, March 19, at 5:30 p.m.
The Nomination Petition/Papers Training will include the requirements to become a candidate, when to obtain packages for nomination, documents required when submitting when submitting the nomination petition/papers, and other pertinent election information.
Supervisor Fawkes encourages interested aspirants to register via email, esvi.info@vi.gov or by phone at 340-773-1021 (St. Croix) or 340-774-3107 (St. Thomas).
Nomination papers and petitions for the 2026 Elections will be distributed beginning on Monday, April 14, in accordance with Title 18 Virgin Islands Code. The Nomination Petitions and Papers will be available for pick up at the St. Croix, St. Thomas, and St. John Elections Offices.
The 2026 election cycle is approaching, and the Elections System is committed to
conducting fair, accessible, secure, and transparent elections.
