Eulalie Williams Dies at 81

Eulalie Williams, lovingly remembered by all who knew her, was born on Dec. 20, 1944, and passed peacefully into eternal rest on Dec. 21, 2025. Her life was a beautiful testimony of faith, love, and devotion to family and community.

Eulalie is survived by her devoted children: daughters Charlene Williams Jones and Norma Williams Cumberbatch, and son Lyndon Williams. She also leaves to cherish her memory of her beloved grandchildren Kiwaun Cumberbatch, Jewel Cumberbatch, Jahleyah Cumberbatch, Edisha Beazer, Alisha Jones, and Veronica Williams; and her treasured great-grandchildren Ausar Polius, Jorja Austin, and Ojami Cornwall. She is further survived by her brother Livingston Hart; her sisters Earnestine Hazel, Bernadine Gardenier, and Ruth Morton; and her many loving cousins Louise, Naomi, Martha, Ruth, Thelma, Arlene, Charlie, Hugh, Bobbie Conner, and Lillian Douglas and many more.

She is also survived by her brothers-in-law Deryal Hazel, Pastor Davidson Morton, James Williams, and Solomon Glasford; and her sisters-in-law Ayril Hart, Violet Williams, Issabell Williams Morton, and Rose Gardenier; her son-in-law Julien Cumberbatch. 

Eulalie is also lovingly remembered by her nieces Kerrie Hart Green, Sandra Cannonair, Yvonne and Sharmin Maurishow, Cherrol Hodge, Shilene James, Diana Saunders, Karen Hanley Brooks, Prisca Walters, Bonnie, Audrey, Anthea and Jennifer Hazel, Denise Gardenier, Ruby Stevens, Kerthleen Gardenier Mathavious, Datricia and Autric Morton, and Keisha Hart; and her nephews Glenville Lawrence, Renaldo Maurishow, Vincent Liburd, Olanzo Hart, Shawn Hart, Keithie Gardenier, Ruvidson Morton, Kahlil Hart, Deon Hart, and Way Walters.

Eulalie leaves behind her special friends and extended family, including the Charles Family, Williams Family, Valmond Family, Warrican Family, Combie Family, Samuel Family, Pastor and Sister Marcel, Sister George and Family, the Church of God Holiness Family, Mrs. Flora, the Archibald Family, the Benjamin Family, Douglas Family, Tyson Family, Ceaser Family , Mrs. Emely, and the Spence Family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Simon Williams; her daughter Dorette Williams; granddaughter Sabrina Jones; sisters Roselyn Walters, Eglantine Liburd, and Anita Glasford; brothers Vincent Liburd and Keith Gardenier; and her parents Alice Hart and Absolom Belle.

A Church Service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 24, at the Church of God Holiness, with viewing beginning at 9 a.m. and service at 10 a.m.
