Selassie A. Newton, aka “Newton or Selassie” of New Street, passed away on October 2. He was 89.

Funeral service will be held on Oct. 30 at Frederiksted Seventh Day Adventist Church. The tributes start at 9:30 a.m., and the service will begin at 10 a.m. Interment follows at Frederiksted Cemetery.
