Water Issues Send Eulalie R. Rivera Students Home Early Again

The Virgin Islands Department of Education informs parents and guardians that Eulalie R. Rivera K-8 School will dismiss students early at 10:45 a.m. today, Dec. 12 due to ongoing work and assessments required for the campus water system.
The health and well-being of our students remain a top priority, and it is necessary to ensure running water is available on the campus for the proper functioning of on-site facilities. Maintenance personnel are actively working to resolve the issue and restore full operations.
Parents and guardians are asked to promptly pick up their children from the school at the designated dismissal time. Transportation will be provided for students who utilize school bus services.
We encourage parents and guardians to stay tuned to the schoolโ€™s communication platforms for updates regarding school operations for tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 13. School officials and maintenance personnel are closely monitoring the situation and will provide timely updates.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we address this matter.
Keeping our community informed is our top priority.
