The Virgin Islands Police Department will be enforcing the following parking restrictions and road closures for the upcoming events: Limpricht Park Tree Lighting, St. Croix Boat Parade, and Soup for Your Soul Festival.
Limpricht Park Tree Lighting on Friday:
• NO PARKING from Prince Street to King Cross Street from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
St. Croix Boat Parade on Saturday:
• NO PARKING on Queen Cross Street from Purple Papaya to Caravelle from 6:00
a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
• NO PARKING on Queen Cross Street between Strand Lane and King Street from
11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
• NO PARKING on King Street from the Florence Williams Library to the
Christiansted Fort from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
• NO Traffic will be allowed to pass east of the Library on King Street from 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Soup for Your Soul Festival on Sunday:
• NO PARKING around the Clock Tower parking lot between the UCA Building and
Custom House.
• NO PARKING on Lagoon Street.
• NO PARKING on King Street from KFC heading north to the bridge.
• NO traffic will be allowed north on King Street from KFC from 10 a.m.
• NO traffic will be allowed northbound on Strand Street from FirstBank towards the
Frederiksted Pier and Buddhoe Park.
Vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.
