Board of Elections member Florine Audain-Hassell (right) checks a sample ballot at the Voter’s Expo held Saturday in the bandstand at Franklin Powell Park, St. John. Audain-Hassell and others joined Elections Supervisor Caroline Fawkes in hosting the expo in honor of National Voter’s Registration Day.

Interested residents met her team on St. John and asked questions about the registration process, the supervisor said.

An Expo was also held on St. Thomas Saturday and the team there assisted three new registrants and others who came to update information on their registration cards.

Audain-Hassell offered sample ballots to show residents what they can expect to see when they show up at the polls to cast ballots in person for the Nov. 5 General Election. Early voting is scheduled to take place between Oct. 14 and Oct. 28, territory-wide.

The St. Croix Voting Expo will be held Sept. 28, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Elections System Office Atrium and the Sunny Isle Amphitheater.
