In June 2024, Chaselle McConnell was honored as the 2024-2025 State Teacher of the Year, a well-deserved recognition that has made the Virgin Islands Department of Education (VIDE) incredibly proud. As part of her award package, TJ Ocean Auto, DBA Island Toyota, generously sponsored a car for McConnell for one year. In addition to the vehicle, they also gifted her $2,000.
