The first viewing will be held from 4-6 p.m., Friday, Sept. 27, at Blyden Memorial Chapel

The second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 28, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.

ย She was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Jacob; father, James Stanley; husband, Charles โ€œWinfordโ€ Thomas; son, Winford โ€œCharlesโ€ Thomas; grandchildren: Aโ€™Kaira Connors and Aโ€™Kai Connors; sisters: Lilian Stanley and Priscilla Jacob; and brothers: Samuel Jacob, Leonard Stanley and William Jacob.

She is survived by her children: Amifa Thomas Connors, Angela Thomas, Barrington Thomas, Sr.Ashtoreth Thomas-Wood, Ferdella Thomas-King, Danielle Thomas; adopted son: Owen โ€œMelvinโ€ Brownbill; and grandchildren: Douglas Conners, Noel Connors, Joel Browne Connors, Abraham Connors, Winford Thomas Jr., Winston Thomas, Barrika Thomas, Brianna Thomas, Barrington Thomas Jr., Deshonta Wood, Donell Wood, Cashina King, Cuthbert โ€œCKโ€ King Jr., Cashyjah King, Oโ€™Dean Challenger, Laโ€™Tisha Creque, Ashton Frett and Akeem Frett.

She is also survived by great-grandchildren: Kashyla Conners, Genesis Conners, Abigail Conners, Jeremiah Conners, Anissa Connors, Aaron Connors, Serenity Connors, Journey Connors, Kion Browne Connors, Kaiden Browne Connors, Vaughn Jordan Browne Connors, Jaylen Quintyne, Sol Browne Connors, Abraham Connors Jr., Aโ€™Naiyah Connors, Cameron Thomas, Ellarie Thomas, Winford Thomas, Serenity Charles, Brycen Charles, Brielle Pickering, Izayah Pickering, Barrington Thomas III, Amora Thomas, Dylan Green, Dโ€™Myah Green, Damir Green, Deion Green, Dโ€™Riyah Green, Danae Wood, Cashโ€™don Merrick, Chosyn King, Choyce King and Azai Roberts.

She is also survived by brothers: Frederick โ€œWangโ€ Stanley and Walter Stanley; sisters-in-law: Mamrie Thomas, Emily Lake, Fredrica Stanley; brothers-in-law: Dr. Bentley Thomas, Paul Thomas and Jefferson Thomas; and nieces: Camilita Jacob, Roselyn Jacob, Priscilla Jacob, Christine Jacob, Deslyn Stanley, Nova Stanley, Debbie Stanley, Denise Stanley, Lauretta Walwyn, Avernelle Stanley-Cromer, Petrine Stanley, Nikesha Stanley, Annette Galloway, Icilda Stanley, Austril Martin-Merchant, Loretta Robinson, Althea Martin-Chambers, Avonelle Martin and Chandesha Mills.

Other survivors include nephews: Fredrick Jacob, St. Clair Jacob, Nathaniel Jacob, Glenroy Stanley, Ashton Stanley, Kevin Martin, James Stanley, Elleston Stanley, Alonzo Jacob, Alex Stanley, Leon Harvey, Alva Martin and Leroy Martin; godchildren: Stanley Nickeo and Verline Penn; special friends: June Coggins, Calton Gumbs, Viola Morton, Paulette Rawlins, Robert McClean, Bethel Ladies Fellowship, Seniors Group, Carol Thomas (daughter-in-law), Francis Wood (son-in-law), Cuthbert King Sr. (son-in-law) and Natasha Thomas (granddaughter-in-law); as well as other family and friends too numerous to mention.
