Lubin R. George

Lubin R. George, also known as “Bullet,” of Estate Humbug died on Sept. 2. He was 77 years old.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Esmeralda E. George; and father, Ivan A. George, Sr.

He is survived by his companion: Tiesha M. Ballantine; daughters: Nichole George and Shatelle George; sons: Malcolm George and Karswell George; grandchildren: Makayla George, M’Lakah George, Makeel George, M’Lani George, Mia George, Ke’Myah  George and Omo Yemi George; and great-grandchildren: Reign Wright and Chosen Wright.

He is also survived by sisters: Janice George, Clarice Tyson and Yvonne Orlean; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews too numerous to mention; daughter-in-law, Tanisha George; sister-in-law, Quida George; and godchildren: Camisha Lynch, Troy Brown, Lychelle Lynch and Deray Calixte.

Other survivors include special friends: Arthur Pemberton, Ivan Oliver, Ed Milligan, Carol A. George, Allick Family, U.S.V.I. Fire Dept., Arol Abel, Alphonso James, V.I. Horsemen Association, Knight Family, V.I. Softball Association, Sen. Franklin Johnson, Randy Rissing, Rueben Smith, Timothy Brooks, John McIntosh and Ronald O’Bryan; other relatives: Kisa Harris and Ray Harris Sr.; as well as pther relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Te viewing will begin at 9 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Lord God of Saboath Lutheran Church, Christiansted. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
