Clovena “Ann” Oceta Bloice Caines died at the age of 92.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Lillian Bloice; daughter, Laura Bloice; son, Lemuel Caines; and several brothers and sisters.
She leaves to mourn, her children: Sylvanus “Roots” Bloice Sr., Austin “Wakima,” Manassah Jr. “Mashama,” Charlene Caines and adopted son, Paul Fahie; grandchildren: Nur, Wanis, Umar and Yusef Nadir, Sylvanus Bloice Jr., and Kima Tashema Caines George; special grandchildren: Glenycia Shay Caines Bixby (David) and Kimal Caines; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Ira “Iva” Bloice Penn.
She is also survived by brothers: Raymond “Jerry” (her twin) and Benrick Bloice; special nephews: Leroy “John” Bloice, Orville “Wakali” Francis, Joseph “Wakash” Penn and Samuel Caines Jr; nieces: Verline and Natasha Penn, Melva and Eulalie Henry Bloice; special niece, Aggie Francis; cousins: the Bloice, Francis, Connor, Peets, and Liburd families; and many other family and friends too numerous to mention.
Going Home Celebration Service Wednesday, July 24, will begin with a viewing from 9 – 10 a.m. followed by a service at 10 a.m. at The Healing Center New Testament Church of God, Contant No. 41D.
Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 3. Arrangements are handled by Turnbull’s Funeral Home and Crematory Services.
