Joint Operation Yields Six Arrests on St. Thomas

The V.I. Police Department reported that it conducted a joint operation in February that resulted in six warrants being issued.

The operation was undertaken with the assistance of the Drug Enforcement Agency and the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Agency Task Force. It was focused on the area of Red Hook which is known for the illegal distribution of narcotics on St. Thomas, according to the press release.

The release stated that the following individuals were arrested.

  • N’Kel Morton, 30, was arrested on March 8, in the area of Red Hook Plaza. He was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine.
  • Jaamal Bell, 42, was arrested on March 7, at American Yacht Harbor. He was charged with possession with intent to distribute.
  • Peter Francis Jr., 33, was arrested at American Yacht Harbor and charged with possession with intent to distribute.
  • Anwar Lockhart, 40, was arrested on March 15, on Cassi Hill and charged with distribution of cocaine.
  • Niah Henry, 35, was arrested on March 16, at Red Hook Plaza and charged with possession with intent to distribute.
  • Kenson Plasimond, 43, was arrested on March 7 at Tutu Park Mall and charged with possession with intent to distribute.
