Photo Focus: Ribbon-Cutting Held for Florence A. Williams Library

The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Florence A. Williams Library took place Thursday in downtown Christiansted, St. Croix, Government House announced.

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr., Lt. Gov. Tregenza Roach, Senate President Novelle Francis Jr. and other government officials attended the ceremony. Many community members also attended the event.

Following the ribbon-cutting, a tour was offered of the refurbished library which now includes more open spaces and sitting areas.

The library is scheduled to re-open April 6, according to DPNR Commissioner Jean-Pierre Oriol.
