Phyllis Valencia Walcott of Estate Flamboyant Terrace died on Feb. 21. She was 79 years old.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Consuela Wade and Henrique Walcott Sr.; sisters: Ena Walcott-Dowling, Jewel Walcott-DeGrasse, Marcia Walcott-George and Willi Mae Walcott-Edwards; brothers: Albert “Butty” Krigger, John “Lalo” Walcott, Winston Walcott, Wayne Walcott, Lourie Walcott, Harold Ditto Edwards and Henry Walcott; and life partner, Leon V. Roberts.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynelle M. Roberts-Walters; bonus daughters: Cheryl Todman, Nicole Roberts and LuAnne Roberts; granddaughters: Tyesha J. Williams, Yehuda L. Williams, Verniquah H. T. Walters and Marliyah K. L. Tison; great-grandsons: Hadhir T. Walters and Vaughn T. Walters; great-granddaughter, Zanairah T. C. Christophe; sisters: Delores Brewster, Shermaine Capehart, Leslie Delita Johnson and Terre Walcott; brothers: Anselmo Gerard, Enrique “Darian” Walcott and Henrique “Brother Conse” Walcott Jr.;
She is also survived by sisters-in-law: Patricia Walcott, Venetta Walcott, Lola Roberts-Richards, Leona Raymo and Maysia Roberts; brothers-in-law: Charles Capehart and Lloyd Roberts,Sr.; and nieces: Beverly Edney, Renee Dowling Esq., Rhea Dowling, Geraine Maynard-Fleming, Denise Marquis, Michaeleen Edwards, Annette Krigger, Tasha Walcott, Tamalia Walcott, Marcia Walcott-Ventura, Senator Diane Capehart, Geri Capehart, Tamara Johnson, Shantel Stewart, Sierra Henry, Zoraida Walcott, Xiomara Luthi, Diane Walcott and Denise Walcott-Samuel;
Other survivors include nephews: Victor “Fish” Edney, Sr., Reuben Dowling, Robert Dowling, Roosevelt Dowling, Shawn Maynard, Gino Maynard, Kevin Hodge, Sean Edwards, Albert Krigger Jr., Alvaris Krigger, Trent Walcott, Dennis Walcott, Mike Capehart, Gladwin Johnson Jr., Afori Johnson, Josiah McIntosh, David McIntosh and Fernando Walcott; and additional family/relatives: many great nieces and great nephews too numerous to mention, Gloria Joseph and family, the entire Roberts family of St. Thomas, Ronette Nesbitt, the entire Henry family and the rest of the Walcott family.

The viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 18, at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Interment will follow at Christiansted Cemetery.
