David Wells captured these images of the latest SpaceX rocket launch at 7:13 p.m. on Sunday while looking northwest from Francis Bay on St. John.

According to industry publication Spaceflight Now, the company successfully launched a 230-foot Falcon 9 rocket from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida just after 7 p.m. on Sunday that will deploy 23 more of its Starlink internet-beaming satellites into low-Earth orbit.

SpaceX, owned by Elon Musk, provides launch services and owns StarLink, a satellite internet startup. Its Florida rocket launches are often visible from the Virgin Islands.
