St. Thomas Man Arrested for Unauthorized Use of Vehicle

A St. Thomas man surrendered himself to authorities Thursday after colliding with a police vehicle while operating a vehicle he was not authorized to use, the V.I. Police Department reported.

On March 4, at about 1:00 p.m., officers responded to the area of Oswald Harris Court in reference to an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle that collided with a police vehicle. The suspect fled from the officers, according to the police report.

On Thursday, Franklin Archibald Jr., 20, responded to the wanted poster, which was released by the Criminal Investigation Bureau. Subsequently, he surrendered himself to the and was arrested for the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, the police report stated.
