Two Men Found After Being Kidnapped on St. Croix; Four Suspects At Large

VIPD is seeking assistance in a kidnapping that occurred on St. Croix at approximately 5:45 p.m. Tuesday along Queen Mary Highway in the area of Royal Furniture, Peter’s Rest, the V.I. Police Department reported.

The 911 Emergency Call Center received reports of a possible kidnapping, where a white or silver Toyota Tacoma quad cab abruptly maneuvered in front of a BMW SUV. At this point, three masked individuals jumped out of the truck and dragged the two occupants out of the BMW and forced them into the truck and fled the area, according to the police report.

Officers canvassed the area and were able to locate the victims, who confirmed that
they were, in fact, kidnapped by individuals who dropped them off in the Half Penny
area. The victims were not able to identify the suspects, however stated there were possibly four suspects in the Tacoma truck, the police report stated.

This is an ongoing investigation.
