The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority would like to advise the St. Croix community that yesterday, one of its contractors inadvertently severed a powerline in the downtown Christiansted area, resulting in the loss of power to some of WAPA’s customers.
VIWMA is working with WAPA and several contractors to restore power to the affected area.
