Crime Stoppers Needs Tips to Solve Crimes

The Criminal Investigation Bureau was requested to travel to Vitraco Park Mall area of Dineros Bar and Restaurant in reference to an unresponsive male in the roadway.

Upon the unitโ€™s arrival, they discovered an unresponsive Black male laying in the roadway. The male appeared to have sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his body. EMTs were present on the scene and concluded that the male did not have any vital signs. The male was identified by his next of kin as 31-year-old Marc J. Thomas.

Shortly thereafter, the members of the Criminal Investigations Unit were notified that another male victim was transported to the Schneider Regional Medical Center for treatment for multiple gunshot wounds about his body. The male later succumbed to his injuries. The identity of this male is unknown at this time.

Oct. 6, 2021

The John Doe who was transported to SRMC on Oct. 3, 2021, was positively identified by his next of kin as 38-year-old Keris Kareem Phipps a resident of St. Kitts and Nevis.
