Woman Caught on Video Surveillance Stealing Jewelry

Police officers were dispatched to Lady C Designs, on St. Croix in reference to stolen jewelry, said V.I. Police Department. 

On June 6, officers made contact with the store manager who stated that she had video surveillance of Tashema Hutchinson, 40, stealing items from the store. Police interviewed Hutchinson who admitted stealing $520 worth of jewelry from the store, according to police report.  

Hutchinson was placed under arrest and faces charges of grand larceny, and possession of stolen property. Unable to post bail of $20,000 Hutchinson was remanded to corrections pending her advice of rights hearing, said police.
