Last week, Antilles School began the weekend with a remarkable display of musical talent by one of its seniors, Alex Bared, who is soon to be an alumnus of the school. Bared put together an exceptional recital as part of his high school graduation requirements.

Given the choice between an internship or a project, he decided to create a memorable performance for a select group of friends and family. The recital took place on the stage of the Prior Jolleck Hall, where Bared and his bandmates showcased their skills and delivered a masterclass-worthy performance.

Their repertoire spanned across various genres, carefully chosen to evoke emotions and resonate with the audience. Each song held a special meaning for Bared, as they reminded him of cherished family members and conveyed important messages about the ever-changing world we live in.

Through his performance, he sought to impart the message that accepting change is crucial, regardless of its form or shade. The songs played by Bared and his bandmates were carefully curated to touch the hearts of the listeners, encouraging them to reflect on their own personal connections, the transformations occurring around them, and the importance of embracing diversity.
