The Virgin Islands Police Department will commemorate and honor the past and present men and women who have answered the call to protect and serve the Virgin Islands community during the Police Week celebrations. Police Week is recognized nationally.
“National Police Week offers honor, remembrance, and peer support while allowing law enforcement, survivors, and citizens to gather and pay homage to those who gave their lives in the line of duty,” according to the National Police Week website.
On St. Thomas, Police Week will be held from May 12-21 and on St. Croix from May 15-20.
