Judicial Branch Announces Early Dismissal of Non-essential Employees in STT/STJ District

Administrator of Courts Regina Petersen informs members of the Virgin Islands Bar Association and the general public that consistent with the grant of administrative leave by the governor to facilitate the J’ouvert scheduled by the USVI Division of Festivals, all non-essential judicial branch employees in the St. Thomas/ St. John District will be dismissed at noon on Thursday, April 13.

Be advised that all previously calendared matters will be heard as scheduled unless otherwise rescheduled by the presiding judicial officer.

This closure does not affect electronic filing. The public is further reminded that basic case information can be accessed online via the public access portal at http://usvipublicaccess.vicourts.org and that citations may be paid through the online payment portal at http://www.paymentsvicourts.org/.
