The Emile C. Berry Fire Station (Echo Company) on the North Side of St. Thomas will be temporarily closed from Monday to Friday this week for disaster-recovery related maintenance work, the V.I. Fire and Emergency Medical Services announced.
During the closure, neighboring stations will provide emergency services in the affected area, the department said. Â
The ongoing improvements at the station aim to enhance safety and functionality, according the press release. “We thank the community for their understanding and support during this period.”
