A 34-year-old man on St. Croix assaulted an elderly woman, breaking three of her fingers, the V.I. Police Department reported Saturday.
VIPD executed an arrest warrant for 34-year-old Alexis Eugene Friday after he assaulted an elderly woman with a glass bottle breaking three fingers of her hand on Jan. 23, according to the police report.
Eugene was arrested and charged with assault third, aggravated assault and disturbance of the peace. He was advised of his Miranda Rights and booked. Eugene was unable to post the $25,000 bail, and he was transported to the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility, where he was remanded pending his advice of rights Hearing on Monday at the Superior Court, police said
