Crime Stoppers Needs Your Help Solving a Burglary

Police and detectives are investigating a burglary at gunpoint that allegedly took place in Bordeaux on St. Thomas Monday, the V.I. Police Department reported.

Officers and detectives were dispatched to the area of Bordeaux regarding a burglary that took place Monday. Upon arrival, contact was made with the victims, who stated that while in their home, they heard a knock on the door. One of the victims stated that when she asked who it was, the person said they had a package to deliver to her, according to the release.

The victim stated that once she opened the door, the suspect barged into the home and placed a “gun” to her face. The victim stated that she was ordered to take the suspect to her room, where they ransacked her bag, removing the money that she had in the same bag before leaving their home. None of the victims sustained injuries or had any additional information they could share, the release stated.

Please note that the suspect/suspects are still at large, police said.
