Man Attacks Female Victim; Faces Domestic Violence Charges

A man on St. Thomas turned himself in Thursday on domestic violence charges, the V.I. Police Department reported.

Clinton Whyte Sr., 34, turned himself into the Domestic Violence Unit, where he will face charges of assault, unlawful entry, destruction of property and disturbance of the peace, according to the report.

Whyte stated that on Jan 2., attacked a female victim and followed her into her residence, where he slapped her in the face, bit her about her face and arms causing multiple bruises on her body, and that he also strangled her, the report stated.
