Jouvert/Parade Route for Crucian Christmas Festival 2022-2023

Frederiksted, St. Croix, USVI – As the Crucian Christmas Festival continues, the Virgin
Islands Police Department would like to remind and inform the public of the Jouvert and
Parade routes which will be closed for motorists to traverse. The Jouvert and both parades
will start from Hannah’s Rest (Fredriksted), proceed north along Emancipation Drive, left on
Fisher Street (by the Post Office), then a right on King Street down to Midre Cummings Park at the Judges’ Viewing Stand.

Jouvert – Thursday, Jan. 5 at 5:00 a.m. or once there is enough sunlight for safety purposes.

Parking Restrictions for Jouvert: NO PARKING on the roadway from Hannah’s Rest to
the Festival Village on King Street and Strand Street from 2:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Children Parade – Friday, Jan. 6 at 10:00 a.m.
6:00 a.m. until the parade ends.

Adults Parade – Saturday, Jan. 7 at 11:00 a.m.

Parking Restrictions for Parades: NO PARKING on the roadway from Hannah’s Rest
to the Festival Village on King Street and Strand Street from 6:00 a.m. to until the end of
the parades.

The Virgin Islands Police Department wishes everyone a Happy New Year and a safe
Crucian Christmas Festival.
