Randolph Antonio Phillips Dies at 88

Randolph Antonio Phillips

Randolph Antonio Phillips, better known as “Stup” or “Iman,” died at the age of 88 at the Roy L. Schneider Hospital on Saturday, Oct. 8.

He is survived by his wife, Carmen Phillips; sons: Wayne Sr., Michael “Masia” Sr., Randolph Jr., Keith Sr., and Cleve Phillips, Sr., who all reside in New York. He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Vivian Phillips; grandchildren: Ebony James, Wayne Jr., Crystal Maurice, Akema and Masia Jr., Shinnequa, Rashard and Keith Jr., Cleve Jr., Tashina and Gierra Phillips; 21 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Joan Martin; and brother-in-law, Vincent Defoe.

Funeral Services are being held by the Turnbull Funeral Home.  The viewing will be held at 9 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 2, at the Blyden Memorial Chapel. The service will be held at 10 a.m. immediately after the viewing.  The interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.
