Crime Stoppers Tips Lead to Found Firearm

On Jan. 28, at 9:30, local and federal law enforcement officers were able to conduct an operation regarding possible illegal activity that occurred around the John F. Kennedy Terrace housing community. This operation was made possible through tips reported to Crime Stoppers USVI. 

Law enforcement officers searched an abandoned building in Kennedy Terrace, discovering a rifle with an extended magazine. VIPD Crime Scene Technicians collected the rifle for processing. Also, during this operation, marijuana plants were confiscated by federal agents.
